Quick update on Prom Rituals!!

Today is a new day! This is the only day that counts!

Here is my original post.

One of my son's friends asked a girl to prom and since she was a runner he bought her running shoes and socks and some other things.  He spent about $200.  She said yes.  This was a few weeks ago.  This week she changed her mind.  Prom is April 20.

I don't know if she returned the items, but what is going to do with used shoes. I was so angry about this whole thing.  Boys should just quit asking.  Or wait until the week before.  She is one of the popular girls so I'm sure someone else asked her.  What are we teaching these girls?
The boy is looking for another date and he will probably find one.  He is pretty popular too.

I hope my son's date doesn't back out.  I'm sure it would be a long time before he asked anyone else.  Probably never.  He would just go with some of his friends!
